Rianne Chester, a UK based beauty therapist from The Loft Beauty and Training in the Cheshire town of Warrington, has been awarded a British Empire Medal for her services in the Queen’s 2016 birthday honours list.

This continues a winning streak for Chester who was also a 2015 World Skills gold winner for Beauty Therapy at the World Skills competition, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil last year. Not stopping there, Chester also picked up the Albert Vidal Award for the most points won across the whole competition – she is the first Brit to take home the accolade.

Chester’s salon offers professional facials, nails and waxing and also offers professionals training in holistic therapies, massage and manicures.

It’s great to see beauty therapy getting such lofty awards!
