Speaking at the lunch organised by the brand’s local distributor, Advanced Cosmeceuticals, Font said he created Mesoestetic in the 1980s while running a pharmacy in Barcelona.

After “recognising an opportunity in the field of aesthetic medicine” Font began working with master formulas to create a range of products that could “achieve dramatic results”.

Today “the small business” has more than 150  such products and treatments in its range, employs 1000 people at its Barcelona plant, and is sold into 87 countries.

Yet despite the brand’s incredible growth, Font claims to know the full name of every one of the employees ‒ and remains committed to the excellence and efficacy that started the company.

Font was accompanied by Mesoestetic general manager María José Almansa and export manager John Singleton during his visit to Sydney.

Apart from the media launch, the trio also visited a few of the brand’s clinics in Sydney to meet the owners and staff to update them on the brand’s latest developments, and gain a greater understanding of the local market.
