Miss World, which launched in 1951, is the largest and longest running international beauty pageant in the world and attracts a viewing audience of over one billion people globally.

Known for its travel-inspired products including ‘Weekend in Bondi’ and ‘Week in Fiji’, Sunescape is the perfect match for the pageant, and founder Lisa Williams says the partnership promises exciting growth for her business.

“There is a huge demand for natural looking, long-wearing and hydrating tanning products,” she says. “We’ve poured our heart and soul into delivering an amazing formula that does just that.”

When starting her brand, Williams says she realised that in the increasingly competitive tanning market, promising a bronzed glow wasn’t enough to make Sunescape stand out. So, she decided to focus on ensuring her tan didn’t just make the skin look good, but feel good as well. This led to a formulation that is packed with the good stuff.

“We added vitamins, antioxidants and hydrating oils to enrich the skin with anti-aging, hydrating and firming ingredients, leaving the skin smooth and replenished,” she explains. “The Miss World contestants will be ready to hit the catwalk with a ‘just back from holiday’ look and feeling.”

Along with its salon tanning products, Sunescape also offers a range of retail items including an instant self tan mousse, gradual tan extender, hydrating body butter and shower gel, application tools and a triple-scented soy candle range.
