The results are in for consumer beauty website Popsugar Australia’s annual beauty awards, and salon-only brand Sunescape’s Hydrating Self-Tan Mousse was crowned the best self tanner of the year, to the delight of brand creator Matt Williams and wife Lisa, who were honoured to win with the brand still so fresh to the market.
Stocked exclusively in salons, the self-tan mousse was developed to provide a natural looking tan with organic ingredients including coconut oil and grape seed extracts to nourish the skin.
“We wanted to create a product that gave the streak-free, natural end result of a professional tan, but that people could use in the comfort of their own home or take away with them for a mid-holiday tan top up. It’s the perfect retail option for salons that don’t want to or can’t do professional tanning,” said Williams.
Sunescape Hydrating Self-Tan Mousse – which comes in two shades, contains eco-cert approved DHA and is free from petrochemicals, parabens and animal cruelty – is also available in a professional spray tan formula in salons.
