Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics announced that one of its makeup artists won in the Classic Bridal category of the Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo Make Up Awards.
Annette Cacciola, who works at Fuss About Beauty in Noosaville, won the competition with her model, Daisy.
Cacciola (pictured, in black) used Jane Iredale mineral makeup on her model to create an understated look which impressed the judges. Some of their comments were: “best coverage and finish in the competition”, and “the colour and blending of the eye makeup was fantastic – it made her model’s eyes pop!”
Cacciola said her inspiration came from all the brides she has provided makeup services to over the last seven years. She said her winning look was based on, “how [past clients] would describe the look they want for their special day – soft, romantic and sexy. So I used Jane Iredale soft pinks and neutral shades, with smoky black eyeliner and false black lashes to achieve this.
“I was so excited to be part of the annual competition and thrilled to have won! I hope with this I can show every bride who walks through our door that the look they desire for their own special day can be achieved!”
