What is the Innovation Forum?
The Innovation Forum is a peer-to-peer networking event which aims to promote discussion and debate in the Australian aesthetics industry. In a sector which is both exciting and rapidly changing the objective of the forum is to create dialogue around current trends, with a particular focus on innovation. The objective is to look at what is happening in the market now, and more importantly what is on the horizon for tomorrow?
How does the event work?
The Innovation Forum is a breakfast event which is hosted in a round-table format with a number of presenters highlighting new innovations across different product categories. The forum also includes a general briefing on current industry trends from Professional Beauty magazine Managing Editor, Sarah Bowing.
Facilitated in a relaxed and informal style guest interaction is a key part of the event in order to provide feedback and pose questions on topical issues, supplemented by networking pre and post event.
After the event, the Professional Beauty team publish an exclusive online report which summarises the main areas discussed at the event. This report is issued as an eDM and sent to all subscribers to the www.professionalbeauty.com.au newsletter database.
Where is the Innovation Forum held?
Our objective is to develop this as a platform for engagement with the industry on a regular basis. The inaugural Innovation Forum will take place in Sydney on Thursday, 10th of April 2014, with further events in Melbourne and Brisbane in the pipeline.

Who attends?
The Innovation Forum welcomes an audience of between 50 and 60 salon owners. Guests are selected by the team at Professional Beauty team and personally invited to the event. There is a small ticket charge of $20 per person.
