Featuring entertainment and cultural displays, the event has raised over one million dollars for non-profit organisations over the years, and CND co-founder and style director, Jan Arnold, says the brand was excited to be involved.

“CND is proud to make a donation toward meaningful initiatives to the Vietnamese-American community in the name of Creative Play Nail Lacquer,” she says.

Tippi Hedren, who you’ll recognise from the classic (and creepy) Alfred Hitchcock film The Birds, was also happy to be celebrating Tet as a pioneer of the Vietnamese-American Nail Professional movement.

“I’ve been committed to helping young Vietnamese women find education and employment in the United States for over three decades, specifically within the professional nail industry,” says Tippi.

“Partnering with CND for this event allowed me to show my continued support for both the community and the industry.”

Along with Hedren, Vietnamese-American actress and philanthropist, Kieu-Chinh, also joined the CND float.

“It was such an honour to have Tippi Hedren and Kieu-Chinh join us for this important celebration,” says Arnold.

“These two women represent beauty, philanthropy and strength, and are an inspiration to both CND and our fans.”
