Inskin Give Back To McGrath Foundation

Iconic salon skincare brand Inskin this week presented a cheque in the amount of $10,000 to McGrath Foundation ambassador and director, Tracy Bevan.

Inskin founder and CEO, Marie Enna Cocciolone has been a long time fan of the work of breast cancer charity organisation, The McGrath Foundation.

“I am awed by The McGrath Foundation for what they do,” emphasises Cocciolone.

“Every one of us knows someone who has been touched by breast cancer, and so every one of us at Inskin wanted to do something to help.”

And so this week the Inskin CEO proudly presented McGrath Foundation ambassador and director, Tracy Bevan with a cheque for $10,000.

“Our industry is primarily about women as is breast cancer, so it made sense for us to put our collective efforts behind a cause that exists solely to support women and their families afflicted by this cruel and indiscriminate disease,” says Cocciolone.

The cheque presentation was held at Inskin headquarters in Homebush, attended by Jasmine Harrison and Tracy Bevan from The McGrath Foundation and the Inskin head office team.

Embracing The McGrath Foundation’s ‘Together We Can Make A Difference’ ideology in 2014, Inskin launched its ‘Shop Pink’ initiative and created a limited edition ‘Pink Antioxidant Hydra-Mist’ from which the salon brand donated $2 of every purchase to The McGrath Foundation’s breast cancer care and education crusade.

Sporting legend Glenn McGrath and wife Jane’s much publicised experience with breast cancer led to the formation of what is now one of Australia’s most respected and effective charities.

“I am as always, equally grateful to our generous Inskin partners who got right behind our ‘Shop Pink’ program, with our Pink Hydra-Mist, and enthusiastically on-sold it to their customers,” says Cocciolone.

“We could not have made this donation without the full support of our Inskin salons.”
