The International Make-Up Artist Trade Show Sydney is back this year between September 20 and 21.
Featuring tips, techniques and live demonstrations from some of the best makeup artists in the business, the sixth installment of IMATS Sydney will be held at the Royal Hall of Industries in Moore Park.
Top-tier keynote speakers this year include Jordu Schell, Roshar, Adam Johansen and Damian Martin. Jordu is an American sculptor and concept artist who has been working in film and television for nearly 25 years. New York-based artist Roshar will serve as beauty keynote and Odd Studio founders Adam Johansen and Damian Martin will speak on their experience working in major films.
IMATS Sydney is also an excellent place to shop – some of the best international makeup brands will show and sell the latest products. Makeup pieces from film and television will also be on display at the IMATS Makeup Museum.
This year’s Battle of the Brushes student competition will feature two themes: Art Through the Ages for the beauty category and The World of Comic Books and Graphic Novels for the character category.
