On December 19 M.A.C joined Ellery at Icebergs in Bondi for the Pre Fall 2014 show.
True to the Ellery girl, the Pre Fall collection displayed a series of minimalist detail against a palette of futuristic shapes, soft pastels and leather. A mix and match of different worlds, the collection breaks all conventions of winter, refusing to put bold colours to rest in the colder months.
To achieve the complex persona of the Ellery girl, the M.AC team, led by senior artist Amber D, created a forward-thinking 60s girl with a luminous touch.
“The makeup for the Ellery girl this season has a 60’s luxe feel, her enviable effortlessness keeping her the true Ellery girl,” said Amber D.
“[She has] skin that looks as though it’s just her own luminous skin paired with graphic painterly lines.”
Each model had a unique pattern inked to the sides of their faces, expressing the personality of each outfit.
“The shape of the eyeliner nods to the 60’s but the finishes and technology in the product keeps her looking forward,” Amber said.
