The winners of the inaugural Australian Beauty Industry Awards 2012 were announced last week at the gala award ceremony at Dockside
Convention Centre, held to coincide with the closing night of Sydney International Spa and Beauty Expo.

Winners from all over Australia were rewarded for outstanding excellence in their field across all aspects of spa and beauty services, as voted on by
esteemed industry professionals.

Linda Woodhead, creator of the awards, said the awards were a big success, "The awards were created due to overwhelming industry demand, and the enthusiasm and excitement in the room was testament to that. The 2012 ABIA's were a sell-out event, and with such a high calibre of entrants and
winners, it is so exciting to see what 2013 has in store."
