On Wednesday 4th April 2012 the industry came together to celebrate the opening of BOBS Studio located within Cameron Jane Makeup Design Makeup Academy.

BOBS Studio is a shop for makeup artists stocking a range of professional brands. The store concept is “the best of the best” reflected in the products stocked; they don’t stock entire ranges but a selection of key products from professional ranges including Il Makiage, Kryolan, Lord & Berry, Kevin Murphy, Reel Creations, Martin Bray Pro Range, MVC, Joe Blasco, Japonesque, Designer Make-up Tools, Ultimate Brush Roll, Shizen, Kat Kit Road, Hadassah Hair & Beauty, BOBS Studio Range, Naked Tan, Dateline, Satin Smooth and Diamond FX.

One for the main focuses of the night was to launch Lord & Berry in Australia. BOBS Studio is the sole distributor for Lord & Berry and stocks the entire range. Lord & Berry’s brand philosophy is based on meeting the needs of modern women of diverse cultures internationally. There focus is strong eye and lip makeup to suit every woman.

Max May, makeup artist with Company 1, says his favourite Lord & Berry product is the flat black eye pencil. Lord & Berry have a large range of eye pencils to meet different needs, from liquid through to soft creamy formulas and kohl pencils.

Guest enjoyed canapés and a selection of drinks on throughout the evening. Presenter, Zoe Sheridan was there to MC the night.

Goodie bags were given out containing amazing products from some of the suppliers which included Ultimate Brush Roll, Kryolan, Naked Tan, Blinc Cosmetics, Kevin Murphy, Moroccan Oil and many more! Guests who were there also received and industry discount card.

Candy Buffet

A candy buffet was another treat for guests to enjoy throughout the evening, with an amazing array of candy that guests could also take home with them.

For now makeup artists can purchase in store at Lord & Berry but the shop will soon go online. Watch this space!
