On March 14th Silk Oil of Morocco launched at Salon Melbourne a new product to work alongside Silk's popular Fibre Lash Mascara.
Minx Nails counts Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Lily Allen, Rihanna (nails pictured) Fergie and Beyoncé amongst their celebrity clientele and the brand has worked with designers such Alexander McQueen and Jimmy Choo on their catwalk shows and advertising campaigns.
Actress Scarlett Johansson was recently featured on the cover of US Glamour sporting the “Black and White Houndtooth Minx”. Minx also attributes its ever-growing success to the support of high profile magazines, including Vogue, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle.
Peter Lykissas, CEO, Switch Funky, said: “We are truly excited to be part of Salon Melbourne and launching Minx Nails to the wider professional beauty industry. Minx Nails represents true innovation and this method of nail enhancement has never before been demonstrated in Australia. Fashion and fun is the order of the day at the Switch Funky stand and visitors can expect to find out exactly why celebrities are turning to Minx to ‘glam up’ their nails. Come and see demonstrations of the exclusive Beyoncé Gold holograph nail [which she wore recently at the Grammys] and find out the true meaning of nail couture.”
Salon Melbourne will be the first and only event in Australia to showcase the range, giving visitors the chance to see the designs close-up and meet the Minx Nails experts.
