ASAP Skin Products set to expand into overseas market

ASAP Skin Products says it has relocated its business from Queensland to Melbourne to position the company for further growth, with expansion into overseas markets (firstly the US) to follow.

The company adds it has experienced a 31 percent growth in sales and increased its number of employees by 75 percent in the last 12 months to keep up with demand.

ASAP Skin Products Creative Director Leanne Stewart said while so many companies have suffered at the hands of the global financial crisis, the Australian made and owned ASAP Skin Products has, in fact, benefited from the economic downturn as people turn to affordable, locally-made skincare they can trust.

“There’s a huge need out there for simple, affordable and effective products like ours, which we believe is fuelling our rapid growth. Our concise range covers all aspect of a beauty routine, eliminating the need for many expensive products,” she said.

Stewart puts the strong growth down to the fact that the products meet the needs of consumers. “We’re really excited about the huge growth the company is experiencing and believe the interest from the US is just the tip of the iceberg.

Stewart, along with cosmetic practitioner Dr Douglas Grose, created the brand to provide consumers with an affordable skincare range that would allow clients to experience younger, fresher looking skin while visibly reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

“Our products are also affordable, which has made them even more attractive to a wider range of consumers looking to cut down on expensive skincare while the economy has been tough.”
