Beaubelle sponsors female Grand Prix driver
[Wed 29/04/2009 10:11:03]
Beaubelle Australia, distributed by Balla Spa & Beauty Supplies, sponsored Helen Lindner, a former model and professional racing car driver in the Mini Challenge at the 2009 Formula One Grand Prix.
Lindner was in the Mini Challenge with Footy Show identity, Sam Newman and fellow racing car driver, Gary Young.
Balla Spa & Beauty Supplies executive director, Alla Baidin said that Beaubelle’s sponsoring of Helen came about by accident, Helen being the girlfriend of the father of one of Balla's sales representatives.
“Helen was looking for a sponsor and I thought it would be good exposure [for the brand] to put the Beaubelle logo on the car bonnet,” Baidin said. “We also did lots of giveaways of product samples and brochures for three days at the event.”
Baidin (pictured here at right with Emma K. Hollow and Helen Lindner in the centre), added that the Beaubelle team were mentioned during Channel 10 coverage of the Grand Prix.
“Later, one of my sales reps was visiting a salon and met a beauty therapist who had seen us at the Grand Prix. It just goes to show that the exposure can pay off.”
It seems Linder herself has been sold on Beaubelle products. “I use the Beaubelle products as my daily skincare routine. I’d like to still consider myself reasonably young, but I have to say I’ve really noticed a huge difference in the texture of my skin since using the products,” she said.
Balla Spa & Beauty Supplies have also recently moved to larger offices located at: Level 1A, 233-235 Boundary Road, Mordialloc, Victoria, 3195.
