A huge “congratulations” to all the contestants in the Melbourne Nail Awards 2009.
Due to space limitations we were not sure if we were going to run a competition in Melbourne this year but we are glad we did. It was a great success as many of the contestants had not entered a competition before and it was an excellent opportunity and experience for them in the lead-up to the grand comps in Sydney.
Our competition floor varied from our regular talented competitors to some novice students that have not even completed their training as yet. It was such a pleasure to see such a variety of dedicated and passionate, experienced and new, nail artists taking the challenge to reach a new level in their careers.
I would like to extend a very special thanks to Reed Exhibitions and our sponsors of the events. Without their support these opportunities for nail artists to showcase their skills and learn new techniques while networking, would not be possible.
