Aveda opens lifestyle salon and spa in Milan, Italy

Aveda launched its first Lifestyle Salon & Spa (LSS) in Italy last June. Situated in the heart of Milan’s fashion district, the spectacular new LSS is a three-level, 240 square metre location offering the complete Aveda experience: a full-service salon, spa and Aveda retail area.
The venue is owned by long-time Aveda partner, and renowned Italian hairdresser, Fabrizio Lepri. Together, Lepri and Aveda have created a salon and spa that fuses technical expertise in hairdressing with wellness and environmental responsibility.
Aveda’s Lifestyle Salon & Spa seamlessly merges the brand’s environmentally sustainable design principles with authentic Italian craftsmanship. Design elements include: structural elements made with non-treated black iron processed without the use of chemicals, plaster-free paving and ceilings, work station surfaces made of recycled plastic mobile phone covers, locally-sourced sustainable bamboo woodwork and paneling, pollution-free, water-based paints. The Lepri LSS is also furnished with environmentally responsible materials selected by Excel, a local furnishing company that specialises in the creation of environmentally-friendly, sustainable furniture exclusively for salons and spas.
